October is two weeks away, which marks the most epic superhero month of the decade. Not only will children scour the streets, decked out in their favorite superheroes’ costume during the month’s final days of festivities, but the hit superhero series “Arrow” will be making its return to television.

Now that the date is rapidly approaching, more and more details from production provide fans with an early and delectable taste of what’s to come. From new heros to high flying action to new a brand new poster, The CW has followed through on its promise to take care of its devotees.

Fans have long anticipated the arrival of Barry Allen, aka the Flash, and now they can feast their eyes on his portrayer. According to TVLine, “Glee” actor Grant Gustin has joined the “Arrow” cast to play the coveted role as one of DC’s most celebrated heroes. He will be introduced in episodes 8 and 9 of the upcoming second season as an assistant forensics investigator working for the Central City police department. He arrives in Starling City to look into a series of robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past.

While fans welcome The Flash, they also look forward to the return of Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow, and what better way to reintroduce themselves than a shirtless poster? The CW recently unveiled four new posters to fuel the Season 2 excitement. Of course, the show’s head piece, Amell, takes the cake, but the posters feature fellow heroes Diggle, Roy and Slade Wilson. Check out Amell’s headline worthy poster here.

Get out your Halloween costumes early. “Arrow” returns to The CW on Wednesday, October 9. Life is short. Be sure to capitalize on any opportunity to dress up and prance around like a superhero.
