Paris Saint-Germain starts its Champions League campaign on Tuesday when it takes on Olympiacos.

The French side is the favorite to take first place in a group that includes the likes of Benfica, Anderlecht and Olympiacos. The French side won group A of the tournament in last year's edition before cruising to the quarterfinals against Barcelona. In that draw, the team managed to tie with the Spanish champions before being eliminated on away goals.

Despite their status as favorites in this year's tournament, PSG winger Lucas Moura is playing it safe regarding his team's favoritism amongst pundits.

"There are no easy teams in the Champions League, even if we face teams assumed to be weaker than us," he said, according to ESPN. "We can not assume that it will be easy because everyone wants to win the Champions League. We will play every game like a final and climb the steps one by one...we will fight to be champions of Europe. "

Olympiacos had a solid run in last year's competition and won three games in a group that included Schalke 04, Arsenal, and Montpellier. However, the team ultimately fell one point short of the third round and settled for a short trip to the Europa League.

However, the Greek side is ready to turn heads in its first game against Paris Saint-Germain.

"Paris is a team that always wants to win, they are very strong offensively, playing attacking football with high-level players," said Olympiacos' Javier Saviola, according to ESPN. "But I believe that we have the right weapons to tackle a difficult and important game. I think we are well prepared and what remains is to be psychologically ready to deal with a team of the quality of PSG."

Prediction: Benfica will win this opener at home by the score of 2-0.

Start Time: 2:45 PM EST
