Usain Bolt once again showed the world that he is not only the fastest man in the 200-meter dash but also the king of the 100-meter curve that precedes the final stretch.

Bolt on Thursday reclaimed the title for the event and cemented himself in Olympic History as the first athlete to win Gold medals in the 100m and 200m events in two Olympics consecutively.

In the video, Bolt races past his competitors as he relentlessly takes on the curve which by the end of it, Bolt is already significantly ahead of his crowd.

In the final stretch, Yohan Blake is seen speeding up and narrowing the distance between himself and Bolt, but by the time he realizes his progress the race is already over.

Blake finished just 0.12 seconds behind Bolt's time of 19.32, while third place went to another Jamaican, Warren Weir who finished with 19.84.

After the race, Bolt was quick to respond to his critics who had been questioning his ability to deliver another Beijing-like performance.

"For me, that was for all the doubters, all the people saying I wasn't going to win. They can stop talking now, I'm a legend," said Bolt, according to Bloomberg.

When asked about his appearance in the Rio Olympics in 2016, Usain wasn't as quick to answer. The sprinter casted some doubt whether he would make an competitive appearance in Brazil by saying that he had a hard task in front of him to find out what he wanted to do after.

But to further those doubts Bolt concluded with, "I've got nothing left to prove. I've showed the world I'm the best," according to Reuters.

Bolt would be 29 years old in 2016.
