According to Sapna Maheshwari of Buzzfeed, Nokia UK, Samsung, LG, and Windows Phone purchased Twitter advertisement space for their tweets appear on top of users' timeliness when searching terms such as "Apple" and "iPhones."

In addition, the Apple event reportedly generated over 25,000 tweets every minute, which almost went on par with the number of tweets tweeted during the 2012 Olympics race between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple announced the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, which will start to sell on Sept. 20.

The iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s features are heavily similar.

The two smartphones have a screen size of 4 inches with 1,136x640 resolution. The iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s have an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 3,264x2,448 pixels. The front-facing camera has 1.2 megapixels.

The smartphones will also come equipped with the new iOS 7 mobile operating system.

The differences between the smartphones include the memory options as the iPhone 5c will not offer a 64GB model unlike the iPhone 5s. The Apple devices will be available in 16GB and 32GB variants.

Also, the iPhone 5s will utilize the A7 chip while the iPhone 5c maintains the A6 chip seen on the iPhone 5.
