Actress Lorena Rojas is raising funds for the Theodore Lampidis foundation. Theodore Lampidis is a Greek Doctor whose cancer investigations need $10 million, according to entertainment website, People.

Currently, Lorena Rojas is in a battle against cancer which has lodged in her bones and metastasized in her hip and some of her vertebrae. "I always try to feel well because health also starts in your mind," she said.

The article points out that the actress and producer of telenovela "Macarena" has a sentimental relationship with Miami microtheater director Jorge Monje, who is of Spanish origin. "He is a hardworking man. He's European and there are some cultural things where we don't meet eye to eye, but we get along very well. He's very attentive, very responsible," Rojas said of Monje.

Regarding her battle against cancer, she assures everyone that she wants to submit herself to the treatment that Doctor Theodore Lampidis offers. According to Rojas, Dr Lampidis is a well-renowned scientist who graduated from Harvard. "He has spent his whole life investigating to find a cure for cancer. In his investigation he has a convincing theory, the way I see it. It's a way to trick cancer cells. The hardest cells to eliminate though chemotherapy -which are the deepest cells in a tumor- when they lack oxygen they turn to the natural sugar in our bodies. When you trick them with fake glucose, the cells starve and it's easier to eliminate the disease," she added.

Because of her belief in the treatment, the actress seeks support for the Lampidis Cancer Foundation by promoting the sale of bracelets made with magnetic beads by Uno Magnetic, according to People. Tthe proceeds will be go to Doctor Theodore Lampidis' research.

People can share that the accessory can be bought through the Lampidis Foundation website by clicking on Lorena Rojas' face. The same accessory can be worn as a necklace, bracelet, headband, ring and belt. "We're giving all the support we can because it's not just me, a lot of people could benefit from this treatment," the actress added.
