On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Apple held an event, showing off several different devices that the company will release in the near future. One of these devices includes the newly revealed iPhone 5C, and Apple announced how much the colorful device will cost users for each model. Another device, the new iPhone 5S, was also debuted at the event along with its model and price information.

The iPhone 5C will cost users $99 for the 16GB model, and the 32GB model of the device will cost $199. These prices come with a two year subscription plan to a service provider. According to the CNET live blog of the Apple event, Apple described the iPhone 5C as follows:

"The iPhone 5C is made with all the incredible technology that customers have loved with the iPhone 5, but there's more, too. It has an incredible new design. One that's more fun, and more colorful than anything we've made before."

Many different color options, including Green, Yellow, Blue, Red and White, will be available for the iPhone 5C, as well as cases for the iPhone 5C, which are sold separately for $30. The device has a 4-inch display, so it will be a smaller device for users. Considering that the Moto X, the next closest thing to an iPhone 5C currently, is available for $199, but in 16GB, and the fact that only AT&T customers can access the customization options right now, the price of the iPhone 5C may make it a device to watch.

The iPhone 5S was also revealed on Tuesday. It will be the first 64-bit smartphone ever, and will have Open GL/ES 3.0 support for graphics-intensive gaming (the new Infinity Blade 3 was demoed on the iPhone 5S). Users also will get a fingerprint scanner for security -- another first for smartphones. In addition, the iPhone 5S will offer increased battery life, with 10 hours of LTE browsing, 40 hours of music playback, and 250 hours of standby battery life. The phone will come in three models: the 16GB model is $199; the 32GB will cost $299; and the 64GB will be $399. Like the iPhone 5C, the phone comes with a two year commitment for a service plan. Cases for the device will go on sale for around $40.

Those interested in purchasing the 5C or 5S will be able to buy the new smartphones on Sept. 20. The 5S will not be available for pre-order, so interested users will have to wait in line in order to grab the device. However, the 5C will go on pre-order at Apple's Online Store on Friday, Sept. 13.
