Mexican selection footballer Javier Hernández, better known as "El Chicharito" was the focus of a joke from newspaper Diez de Honduras, days before the Mexican team faced their Honduran rivals during CONCACAF.

According to El Universal, Diez de Honduras released videos where they mock Mexican footballers, specially Chicharito. The videos include cartoons of footballers Francisco Javier Rodríguez "El Maza," Christian Giménez "El Chaco" and the Mexican national team's manager, José Manuel de la Torra, also known as "El Chepo" de la Torre.

In the first video, the team's manager can be seen talking with Justino Compeán, while in the second video Honduran footballers tell their Mexicans rivals "they have to place a chicken's product in the field of Azteca stadium."

Footballer Javier Rodríguez is in one scene talking to his teammember Christian Giménez saying he's not afraid of the match against Honduras, but when he goes to sleep he has nightmares where the Honduran players make him look bad on the field.

According to El Universal, the scene that has caused the biggest stir is the one with Chicharito. In the video, the manager asks why he's sitting in the bench, to which Chicharito attributes to his legs being asleep, adding that he "can't move them for being in the (Manchester United's) bench for so long."

In the same scene, one of the character of "La Chilindrina" from the emblematic Mexican show "El Chavo del Ocho" tries to help the other footballers get Chicharito back on the fied with a rope, but is unable to do so.

El Universal reported that this is a method to "heat up spirits" before the upcoming match between both national teams in the elimination round that could define the future of both teams in the CONCACAF tournament.

The Hondurans will face the Mexican national team on Friday, September 6.
