"Sex and the City" prequel "The Carrie Diaries" will be introducing bad girl Samantha Jones into Carrie Bradshaw's (AnnaSophia Robb) world in season two. Carrie will move to Manhattan this season, which is where she will meet wild child Samantha Jones, played by newcomer Lindsey Gort.

Executive producer Amy B. Harris shared an inside scoop about Carrie and Samantha's relationship with TVGuide.

"She is Donna LaDonna's cousin," Harris joked. Carrie and Samantha "have chemistry, but they're very different. Carrie's spent a lot of time nurturing friends, worrying about her sister and her dad, and Samantha comes in with a lot less worries about consequences and helps her open her eyes to letting go of that a little bit."

Gort told E! Online that she has not yet worked with Austin Butler, the actor who plays Sebastian Kydd, the boy who recently broke Carrie's heart. Although Samantha is a man-eater, it seems like she may be leaving Sebastian alone.

Matt Letscher, who plays Carrie's father, spoke highly of Gort's performance as Samantha. "She's lovely and she's a dead ringer. She's got just the right energy for it," Letscher said.

Letscher hinted that the promiscuous blonde will be introduced in the perfect way. "The way they introduce her in the first episode is really remarkable," Letscher revealed. "It captures everything that everyone loves about that character in her later years. It's there right from the beginning, but also does it in a way that's really moving."

AnnaSophia Robb also shared that Samantha will add a risque factor the show. "I think [Samantha] will be [a bad influence on Carrie.]" Robb said. "Season two is already starting out to be a bit more risque, but it's still a lot of fun."

"Boys will always be involved," Robb continued. "They're [Carrie and Samantha] going to be getting into mischief throughout the city and sort of figuring out their friendship, getting to know each other and their different backgrounds."

The apparent trouble that Carrie will get herself into may cause some bumps in her relationship with Samantha. "There are rocky points, definitely," Robb admitted. "Carrie meets Samantha and is like 'Who is this chick? What is she about?'"

Harris also told Hollywood Life that Samantha won't be the only new "Sex and the City" character to be introduced next season.

"I don't think you'll see Maggie there much, but pretty much everybody else feels like there are incredibly logical ways to bring them into the city and I felt like Walt in particular would be someone who would want to start spending a lot of time in the city," Harris said. "That's a world he will want to live in as well as Carrie. The goal for the second season is to build out the city for the other characters as well, but in organic ways."

Harris revealed that Standford will be introduced in season two, who quickly becomes one of Carrie's best friends. Carrie will meet Standford through Bennett because the two are roommates.

"The Carrie Diaries'" second season airs on The CW on October 25.
