Amanda Bynes is paying top dollar for her psychiatric treatment at UCLA Medical Center.

According to TMZ, the former Nickelodeon star is dishing out as much as $3,500 a day for both treatment and living expenses at the mental facility.

Last week, she was transferred to UCLA Medical to continue undergoing treatment for schizophrenia. The 27-year-old actress was committed to a psychiatric hospital on July 22 after setting fire to a stranger's driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif. She was placed on a psychiatric hold at the Hillman Psychiatric Center in Ventura County before her mother had her moved to the psychiatric unit at UCLA.

On Friday, a judge granted her doctors a request to keep her as an inpatient for up to a year, reports TMZ. However, inside sources indicate that it's unlikely she'll stay for a full year, and will instead spend just another 60 days receiving care to stabilize before transferring to her mother's home.

However, if the "Easy A" actress does stay at UCLA for a whole year, it will cost her $1,277,500; Bynes' 60 days at UCLA Med Center will cost $210,000. Although she's a member of SAG, the policy will reportedly only cover a small portion of the cost.

Bynes' publicist Jonathan Jaxson recently gave an update on the actress' condition. "Despite some reports, Amanda is improving daily and responding well," Jaxson said, reports AceShowBiz.com.

Jaxson added: "There is still a long road ahead, and that doesn't mean being confined to a locked-down treatment center. Amanda is in the best hands presently, medically, and each day her condition is being monitored. There is not a set release date, but with the great track she is on presently, she will be out of a lockdown facility and continuing to recover elsewhere in the near future."
