The September date has also been reported to be the debut date for the next-generation iPhone and the low-cost variant of the Apple smartphone.

The Sept. 10 release date for the iOS 7 has apparently been confirmed to The Verge and developers at software publishing firm Nuance.

As Latinos Post reported, a special event has been speculated for Sept. 10 for Apple's next smartphone. Whether the smartphone will be named the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in his latest note, stated the upcoming iPhone will be available in a gold casing as well as the traditional black and white variants. He also projected Apple will offer a larger 128GB storage than what is seen on the current iPhone 5.

The iOS 7 is currently on its sixth beta version. By visiting Apple's Developer webpage, people can download iOS 7 beta, as long as the user has an iOS developer account, which costs $99 annually.
