Hit detective drama "Person of Interest" will be adding a womanizing heartthrob into the mix for season three.

According to TVLine, the hit CBS show has cast Warren Kole as a person of interest whom the three femme fatales--Detective Carter (Taraji P. Henson), Agent Shaw (Sarah Shahi) and Zoe Morgan (guest star Paige Turco)-- try to get the attention of in a number of seductive ways.

Kole is known for his role on USA Network's "Common Law," in which he played LAPD detective Wes Mitchell. Kole appeared on "The Following" after Common Law wrapped up after one season. He will also assume a multi-episode role on the upcoming season of "White Collar."

"Person of Interest's" three heroines will be united when they find out that Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Finch's (Michael Emerson) target is Kole, a handsomely dangerous charmer. Kole will appear in the third episode of the new season.

Executive Producer Greg Plageman said that Kole will play "a real lothario."

Paige Turco rejoined this season to reprise her role of Zoe, and Sarah Shahi was recently promoted to a series regular.

Amy Acker has also been upped to series regular to continue to play the zany character "Root." Acker spoke to TVLine about playing the offbeat character.

"I was really happy that I got the phone call [from The Machine] at the end [of the finale], so I feel like they have to at least bring me back," Acker said. "The great thing about science fiction shows is I really don't know even what the character is going to be [at any moment]. I feel like I took such a crazy journey [as Root] this year, learning all this stuff I did in the finale about The Machine and Harold. And now that she's had lots of therapy, we'll see!"

"Person of Interest" returns on September 24 at 10 p.m.
