Real Madrid takes on Granada in its second Spanish League match.

The team has been on front pages of numerous publications due to the impending Gareth Bale transfer. While there has been no confirmation, the Welsh star is slated to arrive in Spain early this week and will be unveiled by the team.

The transfer has created a great deal of controversy in recent days with Barcelona's manager Gerardo Martino condemning the deal and calling it a "lack of respect."

"Bale is an excellent player but the rumored fee shows a lack of respect for the world we live in," said Martino, according to ESPN.

However, Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti fired back at his rival. "They were words that I did not understand," Ancelotti said, according to ESPN. "He is not here very long, and does not understand European football and how his own club works, because Barcelona have bought players paying money...I do not want to speak about this, but I believe his words were a little strange."

Madrid won its first game of the year but struggled to pick up the victory. The team was trailing 1-0 early on in its match against Real Betis. Fortunately, Karim Benzema and Isco managed to score for Los Blancos to help the team pick up a much needed 2-1 win. Last season, Madrid opened its season with a 1-1 draw against Valencia.

Granada opened its season with a 1-0 win over Osasuna.

Prediction: Madrid wins 2-0.
