The fourth and final DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 comes out next week on August 27 for the Xbox 360, but fans of the series can get a sneak peak of the new maps a few days early.  Professional Call of Duty team MLG will broadcast a special tomorrow, August 24 at 6PM EST, which will feature the new maps. Interested fans can tune in on the official MLG website as well as their Twitch channel.

The last DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is called Apocalypse, and will feature two brand new maps, two remakes of past maps, and a brand new zombies mode map called Origins. Eight MLG players will be giving players a walkthrough of the four new multiplayer maps, but it is unclear if there will be a preview of the new zombies mode map. The help host the event, Treyarch's own David Vonderhaar will be in attendance and will be giving interviews about this last batch of DLC from the company before the next Call of Duty game, Ghosts, is released by Activision.

The four maps included in Apocalypse include Pod and Frost, the two new maps included in the DLC. Along with these brand new maps, the original Black Ops map Takeoff will be reimagined for Black Ops 2, and World of War map Dig will round out the new multiplayer maps for the game.

However, the zombies mode map Origins appears to be the main focus of this DLC, as Treyarch and Activision have gone all out to make the new zombies map a success. Along with the video trailer for the mode, it has been announced that Avenged Sevenfold will lend the song "Shepard of Fire" from their new album Hail to the King will be a part of the mode's soundtrack.  The new zombie mode is set in an alternate World War One France, where dieselpunk versions of popular weapons and objects are available for use by the players. In addition, players will meet up with the original four playable characters from the first zombies mode and work with them to survive what is being hyped as the most terrifying zombies mode yet.

It will be interesting to see how the last batch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC is received, especially now that fans have gotten an extended preview of the next-gen follow up of the game, Call of Duty Ghosts. With so much attention being given to Ghosts, it remains to be seen if fans can give the excellent Black Ops 2 one last hurrah with this DLC release.
