As summer slowly winds down, the fall premieres of everyone’s favorite shows inch closer and closer. Same is true for the return of The CW’s “Hart of Dixie,” which will find New York doctor Zoe Hart back in the southern town of Bluebell with love interests Wade and George. Many fans have been wondering what to expect from the new season, with few details trickling in.

However, some intel regarding two Bluebell ladies has finally made it out.

Executive producer Leila Gerstein revealed to TVLine that despite getting a role in Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management,” actress Laura Bell Bundy will make the occasional appearance back in Bluebell. “We are definitely having Laura back for a few [episodes],” Gerstein confirmed. The EP added that Bundy’s character Shelby won’t appear “until a few episodes in” the new season.

TVLine’s Michael Ausiello also asked Gerstein about the youngest Breeland girl, Magnolia (played by Claudia Lee). The actress, who is now a series regular on Fox’s “Surviving Jack,” should make an appearance on the show, Ausiello wrote. However, if she can’t, Gerstein joked, “Well, she goes [away] to boarding school.”

While Bundy and Lee may be more scarce this upcoming season, one Bluebell Bell will return as a series regular. As previously reported, actress Kaitlyn Black, who plays Annabeth, has been upgraded to series regular status. Gerstein told TVLine, “Kaitlyn started off with one line, and we fell in love with her.”

She added, “Her part has grown and grown as the writing staff has become more enraptured with Annabeth (and Kaitlyn). And, at this point, she has become so integral to the series-as Lemon's best friend, as Lavon's girlfriend, and as Zoe's confidante-that we needed to make sure she was all ours!"

New faces will also join the “Dixie” cast. As previously reported, “Chuck” actor Ryan McPartlin, actress Antoinette Robertson and “Dexter” actor Josh Cooke have all nabbed guest spots in the new season.

“Hart of Dixie” returns for its third season on October 7 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
