The WWE's reaction to Darren Young's announcement - who yesterday told a TMZ photographer that he was gay - has been nothing short of supportive.

Triple H tweeted, "Congratulations, @DarrenYoungWWE for living YOUR life, YOUR way. #proud" while his tag-team partner Titus O'Neil showed his support by tweeting; "I'm VERY PROUD of @DarrenYoungWWE He's been like Family 2Me&My Kids And that won't Change! #ImInFullSupportOfDarren." WWE Champion, John Cena, who was informed by a TMZ photographer about Young's announcement, said that "For [wrestlers], it's about entertainment. If you're entertaining, you shouldn't be judged by race, creed, color, or sexuality as long as your entertaining."

E! has added six more episodes of the show Total Diva, a reality show that revolves around the lives of the WWE divas. The show has shown an increase in viewership for the third week in a row, with the 8/11 show picking up 1,671,000 viewers, up more than 100,000 from the week and 328,000 more than the debut the debut episode.

Sheamus underwent surgery to have his left shoulder repaired after he tore the labrum during the Money Bank In The Bank pay-per-view (PPV). Sheamus posted pictures pre- and post-operation while cracking jokes on his Twitter account. Sheamus is expected to miss four and six months of action.

Brad Maddox announced, via Twitter, that a match has been set for WWE Summerslam Axxes, featuring Natalya teaming up with Maria Menounos against Brie Bella and a mystery partner.

SummerSlam may also be the last time Brock Lesnar is seen in a WWE ring for a while. Lesnar's WWE contract calls for three matches a year. Having already wrestled at Extreme Rules and a match set for SummerSlam against CM Punk, Lesnar will take extended time off until the build-up for next year's Wrestlemania.

Speaking of SummerSlam, The Miz was chosen to host SummerSlam because the company considers him one of the top social media representatives in the WWE. The Miz will be wearing Google Glass during the telecast to get fans closer to the show. WWE is also going all out on their social media platforms for Sunday's PPV, making the show available via Mobile, XBox, Sony Playstation3 AND Samsung TV, featuring the US Title match between Rob Van Dam and Dean Ambrose on Youtube.com, conducting their first-ever contest on Pinterest, and "Hide and Tweet" SummerSlam ticket giveaways. WWE V.P. Perkins Miller spoke to the folks at theMashable.com website, saying, "We can use social media as the glue that connects all of these things for our fans who can't be in Los Angeles as well as the fans who are there. It creates a unified experience we weren't able to have before."

A new match may be added to SummerSlam. All the members of The Shield have been told to be set for action on Sunday, leading to the conclusion that either the U.S. Title match between champion Dean Ambrose and Rob Van Dam may be changed into a six-man tag team match between The Shield and RVD, Mark Henry, and The Big Show or Henry and The Big Show will take on tag team champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins later that night.
