The Lumia 928 has 332 pixels per inch (ppi) while the iPhone 5 has 326 ppi.

When it comes to memory, the iPhone 5 has the advantage, as it offers more internal storage models with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB while having 1GB of RAM. The Lumia 928 is only available with 32GB with 1GB of RAM. The Nokia and Apple devices do not offer a microSD card slot.

In terms of wireless connectivity, the iPhone 5 and Lumia 928 is compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, and USB version 2.0. The Lumia 928, however, does have NFC.

The rear-facing camera specifications are the same for the Lumia 928 and iPhone with 8 megapixels and 3,264x2,448 pixels.

The rear camera video records on 1080p at 30 frames per second (fps), and the front video camera records at 720p while maintaining the same fps.

The front-facing video camera for the iPhone 5 has 1.2 megapixels as the Lumia 928 sports 1.3 megapixels.

The iPhone 5 utilizes the iOS 6 platform, although it is more than likely set to be compatible with the upcoming iOS 7. The Lumia device has Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.

The Lumia 928 sports a higher battery capacity with 2,000mAh, which gives the smartphone up to 541 hours on standby and over 16 hours talk time when under a 3G network. The iPhone 5 has 1,440mAh for 225 hours of standby and eight hours of talk time when using a 3G network.

When it comes to color options, the two smartphones are available in black and white.

As for prices and carriers, the Lumia 928 is free when signing a two-year contract with exclusive carrier Verizon Wireless. The iPhone 5, however, is available across more carriers, from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless as well. The iPhone 5's prices start at $145.99 up front with T-Mobile and $199 for the 16GB model, and $100 additional dollars for the 32GB and 64GB, respectively.
