Capcom is preparing to give fans of theirs a big gift, as they are going to release the Capcom Essentials pack, which will give players a chance to play five classic games from the developer for the price of one new game, $60, according to Gamestop.

One of the biggest games coming to the Capcom Essentials pack is Resident Evil 6, the latest numbered entry into the series which was released less than a year ago. The game was roundly considered a disappointment by fans of the series, but the game has its fair share of defenders. Gamers can pick it up for themselves on the cheap as part of this new pack.

Super Street Fighter 4 is the next game in the pack, but it should be noted that the version of the game included in this pack is not the Arcade Edition of the game, but players can upgrade the game to Ultra Street Fighter 4 when it becomes available next year for $14.99.

Devil May Cry 4 will also be part of the anthology, and players can revisit the classic game if they feel as though the recent reboot did not capture the experience of past games of the action series.

Dead Rising 2 is one of the most popular games that is part of this package, and players can use it to get back into the swing of things before the release of the Xbox One exclusive Dead Rising 3. This is the original version of Dead Rising 2, not Off the Record, so players will not be able to play Case West and Case Zero.

Finally, one of Capcom's most famous icons, Mega Man, will be part of the Capcom Essentials in the form of Mega Man 10. This game is hands down the most difficult game of the package. Players could check out some old-school Mega Man platforming before he appears as a character in Super Smash Bros 4 on the Wii U and 3DS.

The Capcom Essentials package will be available on October 8 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The package comes in a special Capcom drawstring travel bag, which is convenient considering that the package will consist of 4 games and a download code for Mega Man 10. While these games may be several years old (with the exception of Resident Evil 6), they are some of the biggest titles that have come out on the current generation of consoles from Capcom, and it is a worthy buy for gamers.
