The Netherlands and Portugal face off in an international friendly on Wednesday.

The Dutch side has created a great deal of drama with the absence of Wesley Sneijder on the roster for the upcoming tilt. The Dutchman has called out his coach for the decision and has demanded to be given a chance to prove his form.

"I have the idea he doesn't get it," Netherlands coach Louis Van Gaal said about Sneijder's remarks. "Sneijder has to get fit first, and then get in form, he's got to focus himself on that. Then, with his talent, he'll probably play."

Netherland's Recent Games

The Dutch have won four straight games dating back to March 22 when they took down a hapless Estonia squad 3-0 in World Cup qualifiers. A few days later the Dutchmen took down Romania 4-0. Recent friendly matches have continued to showcase Dutch supremacy. The team took down Indonesia 3-0, before defeating China 2-0; both games took place in June.

Portugal's Recent Games

Cristiano Ronaldo's crew has won three straight games and has not lost in four. After drawing 3-3 with Israel in World Cup qualifiers, the Seleçao took down Azerbaijan 2-0 in March. In June, the team took down Russia 1-0 before beating Croatia 1-0.

All-Time Head to Head

Portugal has won three straight against the Dutch and holds a record of seven wins, three draws and one loss against the Oranje.

Prediction: Netherlands pulls off a 2-0 win.

Start Time: 3:25 p.m. EST
