As the world awaits another sentencing phase for Jodi Arias, the woman convicted of first-degree murder continues to be thrust in the limelight with a new book and TV movie slated to come out in the near future.

According to a report from USA Today, publisher William Morrow has revealed that a new book on Arias, called "The Secret Life Of Jodi Arias," will be released on August 20.

Written by TV commentator and best-selling author Jane Velez-Mitchell, the author says that after reading her book, readers will understand Arias tried to make her boyfriend Travis Alexander responsible for her own happiness, and when that failed, he became her obsession. Arias eventually believed if she couldn't have him, no one could, said Velez-Mitchell.

"I wanted to get to the heart of how this intense sexual relationship turned so toxic and why Jodi Arias became murderously obsessed with the object of her desire, Travis Alexander," Velez-Mitchell said.

Hollywood Life reports that a new TV movie is also coming out, though it's currently in the developing phase. In the film, Arias will be portrayed as a "highly sexual" woman.

According to Hollywood Life, the actress that plays Arias needs to be extremely comfortable being depicted in a very kinky, highly sexual role.

Reportedly "she's going to be having all kinds of sex on screen." The film will also show its actors depicting physically violent scenes.

The movie seeks to uncover new facets of the Arias story and give viewers a glimpse of Alexander and Arias' "dysfunctional" relationship.

Arias was recently found guilty in the murder of her ex-boyfriend Alexander in June 2008. The jury in that trial was unable to come to agreement on whether Arias should receive the death sentence or life in prison. A new jury is set to convene sometime in September to determine a sentence for Arias.
