Season 3 of the hit series "Suits" is now well underway. Amidst the legal drama cast over the firm, fans are roped into the blossoming relationships that have graced the season thus far. One that's getting the most attention Mike and Rachel's. The two share an interesting past filled with peaks and valleys, as is with most relationships, and now recent episodes hint that their romance is on the upswing.

That being said, the wounds of Mike's bombshell are still healing. Rachel was distraught to learn that he never received his law degree, but what's done is done. Time heals all wounds. In a recent interview with TV Guide, Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel on the show, opened up about what's on the horizon for the young couple.

"I joked with [creator] Aaron [Korsh], 'She has this pattern. I slap him and yell at him, and the next thing, I'm kissing him or sleeping with him or in the file room with him,'" Markle said. "Season 3 finds her breaking this pattern of love and hate now that they're together. It's so multi layered."

"It won't be quite as volatile as it's been the past two seasons," she added. "Now they're on a learning curve of figuring out what a real relationship looks like when you are doing it at the office and they're trying to keep it a secret." We all know how that typically ends, especially in television.

"Mike has everything she wants and he didn't have to work for any of it," Markle said. "One could say that he didn't have to work for her. It's her figuring out how to want him and love him even though he has all she wants, but there is some resentment Rachel feels because of this ambition. I love how ambitious she is. ... She's going to assert herself at work more this year. And even though she has this Achilles' heel of not testing well, I want Rachel to be a lawyer. As an actress, I hope [she goes to school] in New York otherwise there won't be much Rachel Zane! She'll be applying and seeing what that could do to her career and her relationship. What if she goes to Stanford or out of state? Mike, to his end, is very supportive."

As the season moves forward, there's no telling where Mike and Rachel will end up, but the paths they take along the way are sure to filled with interesting and intriguing twists.
