Telemundo will enter the cooking show arena with "Top Chef: Estrellas."

The Spanish network revealed that the show will showcase eight stars who will be coached and trained by professional chefs to work on their top dishes. The winner of the competition will not only win the "Top Chef" crown, but will also aim to win $100,000 for a charity of his or her choosing.

The three judges include Lorena Garcia, Jaime Martin del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu. Actress Aylin Mujica will serve as the host for the program.

The eight contestants are a vast array of different talents including Nancy Alvarez, TV host Fernando Arau, singer/actor Christian Chávez, actor David Chocarro, actor Christian de la Campa, actress Erika De La Rosa, actress/singer Lorena Herrera and actress/TV host Cynthia Olavarría.

Alvarez is best known for hosting the TV show "Quien Tiene la Razon," while Arau is known for working on the morning show "Despierta America"; he also competed on Univision's "Mira Quien Baila" last year. Chavez starred in the telenovela "Rebelde" and was a member of the pop group RBD. Chocarro and Olavarria were major characters in Telemundo's telenovela thriller "El Rostro de la Venganza," while de la Campa and De La Rosa were major players in the recent hit series "La Patrona." Herrera has been showcased in numerous films and has recorded many albums.

"'Top Chef: Estrellas' is an innovative television concept that blends the best of Bravo's successful Top Chef franchise with the intense passion our audience has for their favorite stars," said Daniel Cubillo, VP Content Development, Non-Scripted at Telemundo in the press release. "Telemundo continues to innovate by bringing for the first time a cooking competition to Spanish-language prime time television."
