Whether it's intentional or not, the Moto X phone has been leaking through every possible pore of the technosphere, leaving little to the imagination. Luckily, if some internal memos are correct, the phone will be out and about in a little over one month, when all questions can be answered.

A new leaked U.S. Cellular memo states that the carrier will launch the Moto X on Aug. 26. The memo does state that there will be "waves," and while it's unclear on what that means, website Phone Arena conjectures that this could mean LTE-enabled regions will receive the phone first.

An earlier Verizon memo revealed that the nation's largest carrier aims to release the Moto X smartphone on Aug. 23. Canadian carrier Rogers has also mentioned a vague "August" release time frame, so it's a good bet that mid-to-late August is when the Moto x will begin releasing. There hasn't been any information regarding the Moto X on other major U.S. national carriers like AT&T or T-Mobile.

Given the fact that Google and Motorola Mobility have set aside a whopping $500 million for Moto X advertising, the handset manufacturer should be holding a glitzy launch event before the device lands in consumers' hands.

The Moto X will be customizable, with buyers being able to choose between colors and backplate materials. The phone will be the first smartphone assembled in the United States at a plant in Texas, although hardware parts will be shipped in from overseas.

Rumored specs for the handset include a 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, a 10-megapixel rear shooter, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone will also feature always-on voice commands, and a number of other features that can be viewed in this leaked promo video.
