The season five premiere of "Parenthood" is just a few weeks away and fans are finally getting some details about what lies ahead. Until now, the future of Hank (Ray Romano) and Ryan (Matt Lauria) has been up in the air. Last month, fans got word that Romano would be reprising his role of Hank for at least half of the season and now they'll finally learn of Lauria's fate.

TVLine reported that Lauria will be returning to the NBC drama for a "sizable Season 5 stint." Although the exact number of episodes is unknown, TVLine reported that the actor has signed on for about half of the season's 22 episodes.

TVLine has also confirmed that "Lost" alum Sonya Walger has been cast in the recurring role of Meredith, who is described as "a sexy, confident fireball of an architect who is working with Sam Jaeger's Joel on a two-year project."

As previously reported, Joel's wife Julia (Erika Christensen) will be feeling slightly jealous of her husband's new work-wife. The couple invites Meredith over to dinner during the season premiere, leading to a rocky start between the two women when Mer makes Julia feel self-conscious for being a stay-at-home mom.

However, Julia may not be a stay-at-home mom for long. TV Guide reported that with things calming down at home with their children, Julia might consider returning to work. TV Guide's Adam Bryant spilled, "Victor's tumultuous transition into Braverman-hood thankfully seems to be behind us when the show picks up a few months later. In fact, Julia feels so confident about her family unit that she explores returning to work! (You didn't think she was going to be a stay-at-home mom forever, did you?)"

Bryant continued, "But given her less-than-ideal exit from her last job, don't expect it to be easy-especially when she finds out that her potential new boss golfs with her old one. Bogey!"

Fans will just have to wait and see what happens to their favorite family.

"Parenthood" will return for season five on Thursday, September 26 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
