The CW series "Arrow" is popular for many reasons. From its inclusion of DC comic characters and thrilling action, there's not much not to love. But let's be honest. It's main attraction is the eye candy. The producers did a fine job casting the series, and now as season 2 approaches, the show is getting even sweeter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Summer Glau, from "Firefly" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," will take on a recurring role on the forthcoming season of the show. Glau will join Stephen Amell to make "Arrow" one of the best looking series on television. She will play the "enigmatically beautiful" and "dangerous" Isabel Rochev, who works at Stellmoor International, a company hoping to take over Queen Consolidated. Fans anxious to meet the starlet won't have to wait, as she'll make her appearance in the season 2 premiere.

In the "Green Arrow" comic book series, Isabel is a vicious, corrupt and powerful threat that grew from being a slave to running Queen Industries with hopes to return the company back to its prime.

Glau won't be the only new character to grace season 2. There are plenty more DC characters on the horizon. In a recent interview, Amell confirmed the rumors and expressed his excitement for their arrival. Colton Haynes expressed similar sentiments.

"A few of the most important DC characters are going to be coming to 'Arrow,'" said Haynes during an interview with MTV. "And quite possibly working in a team together."

"Arrow" will return to The CW October 9.
