The new Jennifer Lopez produced ABC Family drama "The Fosters" has quickly become a summer hit, with viewers coming back week after week to catch up with the Foster family. This week's episode tackled a slew of issues, including religious views and how lesbian and gay couples are perceived by certain religions.

Jesus' (Jake T. Austin) girlfriend Lexi (Bianca A. Santos) and her traditional parents Ernesto (Carlos Sanz) and Sofia Rivera (Justina Machado) come over to dinner with moms Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum), which causes some tension and worry in the Foster household. Although Stef worries that the Riveras will impose their Catholic views on Jesus, it's Mariana's (Cierra Ramirez) drunken confession of Jesus and Lexi having sex that causes the most trouble.

Meanwhile, Callie (Maia Mitchell) heads to Wyatt's (Alex Saxon) foreclosure party and unexpectedly runs into Liam (Brandon Jones).

In the upcoming episode, entitled "The Fallout," twins Jesus and Mariana will go head to head after Mariana's drunken confession to Lexi's parents. ABC Family teases, "Feeling betrayed and angry, Jesus and Mariana get into a major fight. When Lexi's parents take measures to keep her away from Jesus, Lexi makes a desperate decision, which could have serious and lasting consequences for her and her family." Could Lexi, Mariana's former best friend and Jesus' girlfriend, be planning to run away from home with Jesus? While Jesus may not like his twin very much after what she did, he has a pretty good home life and seems unlikely to run away.

"Meanwhile, Lena urges Callie to participate during weekly group therapy sessions," ABC Family continues. "Callie is conflicted but she opens up to Brandon, who supports her as she confronts a painful memory from her past." Callie wasn't too happy to run into her former foster sibling Liam, with whom she has a difficult past with, at her boyfriend Wyatt's foreclosure party.

Not to be left behind, "Jude hopes to impress his new friend Connor, who comes over to work on a school project."

"The Fosters" S1E7, "The Fallout," airs on Monday, July 15 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.
