Microsoft has revealed the schedule and pricing for its annual "Xbox Live Summer of Arcade" event. The Summer of Arcade will begin on August 7 with the release of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Brothers was developed by Starbreeze Studios and award-winning film director Josef Fares, and will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game follows two brothers who must journey to find the "Water of Life" to heal their dieing father. Brothers will be priced at 1,200 MS Points ($15) at launch.

Charlie Murder, a 2D beat-em-up game by James Silva, will be released the week after on August 14. It will launch at 800 MS Points ($10). The side-scrolling brawler features 4 player co-op and hybrid action/RPG mechanics. It will include character customization, randomly generated loot, and team up moves that vary depending on which characters are selected.

This will be followed by VectorCell's Flashback for 800 Microsoft Points on August 21. Flashback is a remake of the 1992 platformer of the same name. It will utilize slightly more forgiving controls, but will otherwise be a near identical remake of the original game with updated graphics.

Finally, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be released on August 28 for 1,200 MS Points. Out of the Shadows is being developed by Red Fly and published by Activision. The game features both four player online co-op and two player offline co-op.

If you purchase any two of these games, you will receive a "Souls Pack" for the upcoming free-to-play title Ascend: Hand of Kul. Ascend is being developed by Signal Studios, and will be released sometime later this year on the Xbox Live Arcade.
