Canada starts the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2013 campaign with a match against Martinique on Sunday.

The Canadians are looking to the future as Coach Colin Miller opted for a number of young players in their tournament squad. However, Captain Will Johnson believes that the team is ready to make a deep run in the Gold Cup.

"You know me, it's all about results and it's all about winning and it's all about having the right mentality and the right attitude when we step on the field," midfielder Will Johnson told MLSsoccer.com. "It doesn't matter if you're a 10-year pro in my eyes or it's your first cap, the mentality has to be right. And we're going to get that right, we're going to go and compete and we're going to fight and we're going to outwork the other team and see where that puts us."

"It's a new generation," he added. "And we have to establish this group right away and get them experienced at a national level and work towards competing and qualifying for the World Cup.

Canada takes on Martinique, an underdog side that has never won the tournament.

Predictions: This is a game Canada must win if it plans to make it out of the group. Look for the Canadians to defeat Martinique 4-1.

Start Time: 5:30 PM EST
TV: The match will be broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel and Univision
