A few weeks ago, Legendary Pictures revealed that it had delayed the upcoming Jeff Bridges film "The Seventh Son." However, the premiere of the trailer could be coming as soon as Comic-Con.

During the promotion of Legendary's upcoming "Pacific Rim" in San Francisco, company president Thomas Tull took time to talk about "The Seventh Son."

"That's a movie that I actually can't wait to put the trailer out," he revealed. "I think people are gonna love [it]."

Tull also elaborated on why the film was delayed from its original October release date. "The effects house that was doing work on the film ran into some trouble which delayed things. That's tough because it's nothing you can plan for so were putting out in the holiday weekend in January." The film is currently slated for a Jan.17, 2014 launch.

Tull also noted that while a summer 2014 release was enticing, the FIFA World Cup would make it difficult to compete in Europe.

As the conversation came to an end, a reporter asked Tull if he would be putting out the trailer to "Seventh Son" at the upcoming Comic-Con. Tull turned around and asked the reporter "Are you coming?" When the reporter affirmed his presence at the event, Tull smiled at him as he walked away and told the reporter that he may be in for a suprise.

The film, which stars Bridges and Julianne Moore, is an adaptation of Joseph Delaney's young adult series. The story follows a teen who is the seventh son of a seventh son, and who learns about magic from an old exorcist.
