Google announced it has new and updated 3D images for its Google Maps and Earth products.

According to the search-engine company, the maps changes allow users to fly through more than 50 new cities.

According to Google, "If you're using the new Google Maps, try holding Ctrl and then dragging the camera view around. This will give you a camera that lets view in any direction."

The cities with the 3D imagery are: Anniston, A.L.; Auburn, A.L.; Barstow, C.A.; Bastrop, T.X.; Bend, O.R.; Birmingham, A.L.; Boulder City, N.V.; Buffalo Core, N.Y.; Cape Girardeau, M.O.; Casper, W.Y.; Cheyenne, W.Y.; Chicago, I.L.; Chico, C.A.; College Station, O.H.; Delano, C.A.; Desert Hot Springs, C.A.; Dubuque, I.A.; Edmonton, N.Y.; Enid, O.K.; Farmington, N.M.; Grand Forks, N.D.; Grand Junction, C.O.; Great Falls, M.T.; Hanford, C.A.; Healdsburg, C.A.; Helendale, C.A.; Hot Springs, A.R.; Idaho Falls, I.D.; Kelso, W.A.; Killeen, T.X.; Las Cruces, N.M.; Lawton, O.K.; Leeds, O.K.; Madera, C.A.; Malibu, C.A.; Merced, C.A.; Modesto, C.A.; Ocala, F.L.; Odessa, T.X.; Ojai, C.A.; Picture Rocks, A.Z.; Pittsburgh, P.A.; Prescott, A.Z.; Rapid City, S.D.; Redding, C.A.; Riverside, C.A.; San Angelo, T.X.; San Francisco, C.A.; St George, U.T.; Texarkana, T.X.; Twentynine Palms, C.A.; Victoria, T.X.; Winnipeg, T.X.; Yuba City, C.A.

The addition of the 3D cities comes roughly a week after Google unveiled new satellite images without white clouds, which paved the way for higher-resolution images.
