It's a new week. So what does that entail? More "50 Shades of Grey" casting rumors. Still no word from E. L. James or recently appointed director Sam Taylor-Johnson, thus speculations continue to run rampant. The longer the wait, the more potential candidates enter the casting arena. It's now anyone's game. There's no end in sight, so why not let the rumors feed the flame. Something has to keep "50 Shades" fans while the top dogs take their sweet time deliberating. Several names, such as Matt Bomer, Ian Somerhalder and Alexis Bledel continue to snag headlines despite the lack of confirmation, however, with every new day, there's a new contender.

This time around, it's Garrett Hedlund. In a recent mock trailer for the "50 Shades of Grey" film, Hedlund steals the show, looking as devilish and handsome as ever. Check out the trailer below.

Fellow Hedlund fans are grateful for the trailer and are in complete agreement. "He HAS to be Christian Grey, he is so f***king perfect and hot I mean who else could get that role? Love him soo <3" wrote one fan upon watching the video.

Unfortunately, although he would make a fitting Mr. Grey, he's enormously overshadowed by longtime fan favorites like Bomer, Somerhalder and Henry Cavill, whose recent "Man of Steel" performance got fans drooling over the prospect as Superman for Christian. Hedlund's trailer has a measly 2,300 views, while mock trailers featuring the likes of Bomer have raked in millions. One in particular, featuring Alexis Bledel as Anastasia Steele, has nearly 6.7 million views. Check it out below.

Other top contenders, such as Ian Somerhalder, have also experienced their fair share of success on YouTube, however, nothing compares to that of Bomer and Bledel, the reigning champs. His one video has earned nearly 5 million, but collectively, his trailers are overshadowed by the top dogs. Check out Somerhalder's most popular mock trailer below.

Do you think Hedlund has what it takes to beat out Matt Bomer or Ian Somerhalder?
