The Netflix wheelhouse keeps on turning. In the wake of its success with "House of Cards" and the recent release of "Arrested Development" season 4, the online television network continues to produce material on its Watch Instantly platform. Their approach is revolutionizing the way viewers watch their favorite shows. It allows them to watch as they please, whether in small doses, a heavy binge, or spaced out over a long period of time. It's working, so why stop?

Luckily for fans, Netflix doesn't show any signs of stopping. One of its original series, "Hemlock Grove," has been renewed for a second season. As TVLine reports, Charles H. Eglee from "The Walking Dead," "Dexter" and "The Shield" will hop on as the showrunner for the show's foreseeable future.

"The worldwide fan response to 'Hemlock Grove' was phenomenal," said executive producer Eli Roth. "Netflix members loved the potent combination of sexy monsters, mystery and the dark family soap opera that ended with a huge twist, leaving audiences worldwide totally shocked. Season 1 was just a warm up for what we have in store for season 2. Get ready to be scared in ways you never expected."

"[Eglee's] addition to the show, and his experience on such fan favorites as 'The Shield,' 'The Walking Dead' and 'Dexter' will heighten the intensity of the mystery that grips 'Hemlock Grove,' added Netflix's Vice President of Original Content Cindy Holland.

The series will return sometime next year with ten new episodes, three episodes shorter than season 1. Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgard and Dougray Scott will remain series regulars.

Netflix continues to crank out material, and at the pace they're going, television will be an entirely different commodity within the next decade. Prepare yourself for binge watching of epic proportions.
