Ann Curry returns to the public eye after her notorious exit from the 'Today' Show, although not in the form of TV appearances or segments.

The 55-year-old former 'Today' host was working together with magazine Ladies' Home Journal before she was replaced by Savannah Guthrie at the end of June and now she graces the cover of its August 2012 edition for readers and people to see.

Curry opened up to the Magazine about her thoughts on various topics including the raging ratings war between 'Today' and 'Good Morning America', her thoughts on herself, where should saw herself in five to ten years, and what she loved about working with news.

According to the Journal, Curry on the ratings war said, "It's hard not to take it personally. You worry, Am I not good enough? Am I not what people need? ...  I think about the people who watch. They're the ones who matter to me. I want to feel I haven't dropped the ball when it comes to them."

When asked about what she would change about herself, Curry responded, "I don't always understand my worth. I think it's a chronic condition for women. ... We constantly punish ourselves with degrading thoughts when we look at ourselves in the mirror. ... But the one thing we deserve is a better relationship with ourselves. ... I think at my age of 55, it's time to stop doing that."

When asked where she saw herself in five to ten years, Curry responded that she'd eventually like to remain in the 'Today' show for at least five more years and continue her journey to become someone who could positively influence other's like a teacher.

A week after she was interviewed by the magazine, Curry gave her 'goodbyes' on set before millions of viewers and in a farewell she confessed she "had never expected".

Since her exit some three weeks ago, the former host has had her Twitter account silent leaving her fans wondering whether if she is simply taking a short hiatus or preparing for her new role as NBC's reporter-at-large.
