Game Freak Inc. and "Pokémon X and Y" Director Junichi Masuda will have a busy June as he is reportedly set to discuss the upcoming sixth-generation games.

According to the Official Nintendo Magazine, Masuda will appear on the June 16 edition of the Japanese show "Pokémon Smash," a variety program featuring all things about the franchise, such as upcoming spoilers to the anime, events, and games.

"Pokémon Smash" was the first program to announce Mewtwo's new form and Sylveon. Therefore, Masuda's attendance at the special could feature new developments for the Nintendo 3DS-exclusive games.

The June 16 appearance will be five days after the planned "Pokémon X and Y" session and question and answer showcase at E3. Masuda and Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekaz Ishihara will take part of the session on June 11, which was last reported to start at 6 p.m. PDT.

Latinos Post will provide coverage to both E3 and "Pokémon Smash" updates.

"Pokémon X and Y" will be released in October across Australia, Europe, Japan and North America. Ten new Pokémon have been confirmed for the upcoming games: Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Xerneas, Yveltal, Sylveon, Helioptile, Fletchling, Gogoat, and Pancham. The 10 pocket monsters will accompany the new form of the first-generation Pokémon, Mewtwo.
