Injustice: Gods Among Us continues to be a runaway hit for WB Games and NetherRealm Studios. The fighting game featuring a horde of DC Comics legends has hosted a steady stream of DLC since its release. Now, two new character skin packs have appeared online for the game, albeit mistakenly. The Blackest Night 1 Pack and the Red Son 2 pack were accidentally released yesterday, but the DLC was full of bugs and was quickly removed according to IGN. However, we now know what to expect from future DLC for the game.

The Blackest Night 1 pack allows players the chance to play as zombified versions of Superman, The Flash, and Doomsday. While the original Blackest Night pack had the option for players to play as Batman from Geoff John's storyline and created zombie versions of the other characters, this DLC gives the official costumes for the other three characters as seen in the comic books.

The Red Son 2 pack gives players the chance to play as The Green Lantern, Deathstroke (who did not appear in the Red Son graphic novel), and possibly the best Batman design ever, based entirely on his winterized bat-hat with the ear flaps. Both the Red Son and Blackest Night packs were released for $2.99 when they were accidentally launched.

It is unknown when the official release for these two DLC packs will be, but it should be soon, given that NetherRealm has released teaser videos for the skin packs. Another interesting DLC coming soon to the game will be the Mortal Kombat character Scorpion. The iconic undead yellow ninja will soon have his chance to take on the likes of Catwoman, Bane, and The Joker in a toned-down fashion from Scorpion's usual gory style. Injustice: Gods Among Us is available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and iOS.
