Here we are, at the end of yet another week, and to no surprise, there is still no word from E. L. James or Universal Studios on the "50 Shades of Grey" movie cast. So as rumors run rampant across the Internet, several fan favorites have continually generated "50 Shades" buzz and topped fan polls. Among the top candidates are Matt Bomer, of "White Collar," the vampire heartthrob Ian Somerhalder, "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel, and the dragon-bearing queen Emilia Clarke from "Game of Thrones." These names, among others, have dominated the "50 Shades" arena, but that doesn't mean there isn't any room for potential newcomers and those overshadowed by top contenders.

A rather new, yet extremely worthy name has joined contention and is gaining fan approval. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who recently released his first ever directed film, "Don Jon," has been catching the eyes of "50 Shades" fans worldwide as a possible Christian Grey. In "Don Jon," Gordon-Levitt stars alongside Scarlett Johansson, and the thought of the two together gracing the big screen once again in the racy "50 Shades of Grey" movie is something to drool over.

And you know what else is perfect? Gordon-Levitt's character, Jon, is addicted to porn.

"There's only a few things I really care about in my life: my body, my pad, my ride, my family, my church, my boys, my girls, and my porn," Don Jon says. What a seamless transition into "50 Shades of Grey" that would be.

Since it's debut at the Sundance Film Festival, the film has received high marks and has attracted "50 Shades" fans. With a porn addiction theme, what's not to love? Not to mention the two stars, Gordon-Levitt and Johanssen would make quite the handsome pair as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Some fans believe that Gordon-Levitt is a bit too "soft" to play the role, however, after they seeing "Don Jon," many have changed their minds. Although neither Johansson nor Gordon-Levitt has received many "50 Shades" headlines, we're curious to hear what you think now that they're gaining traction. Take the poll below and pray that James and Universal will come to a conclusion sometime soon.
