The Xbox One has had a mixed response from gamers, to say the least. Microsoft's newest console started spawning GIFs and memes very quickly. Here are some of the highlights so far:

1. This supercut of the Xbox One reveal event highlights the repetitive nature of the hour-long event. The video primarily consists of the instances when anybody at the reveal said "TV/television", "Sports", "Call of Duty" and, of course, mentioning the Call of Duty: Ghosts dog (more on him later).

2. Many savvy Internet users have begun Photoshopping a combination of the Xbox One logo and VCRs, spoofing the presentation's focus on watching television and other videos. The image shown below takes it one step further and shows a user photo of a custom made mockery of the Xbox One.

3. The Call of Duty Ghosts Dog: This dog has arguably become more popular than Call of Duty: Ghosts. The dog now has it's own parody Twitter account and even warrants an article in the LA Times---probably not exactly what Activision was hoping viewers took away from their presentation.

4. This GIF of a Call of Duty: Ghosts developer making the aforementioned dog's jaw drop has become very popular as well. The over dramatic nature of the simple act, combined with the seemingly inane act of showing it as part of the reveal for Ghosts has lead it to catch on all over the internet, with some variations of the GIF being made.

5. Finally, one of my personal favorites is a GIF combining the masterful ending of the movie Se7en with Xbox One facts. The heart wrenching scene is played out, only this time the Xbox One is what is in the box. Watching Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman react so dramatically to the Xbox One reveal is something that can be watched over and over again.
