PlayStation 3 owners are still waiting to get their hands on their own version of Diablo 3, which has proven to be immensely popular on the PC. As the game celebrates its one year anniversary of being on the PC, Blizzard has announced that special bonuses will be available for a limited time, and the game itself will have a special sale price.

Those who play the game until May 21 get a boost of 25% bonus experience while playing the game. This bonus will apply to every character type in the game, and will be able to stack with any other buffs the players has. In addition, the experience buff will be able to stack multiplicatively.  Players will also receive a 25% bonus to the Magic Find statistic, which can also stack with other buffs, even beyond the 300% cap limit found in the game.

People wishing to use these bonuses, but have yet to purchase the game are in luck, as the game is discounted by 33% during this time. Players will now be able to purchase the game through the game's online store for $40 through May 21. Any curious fans should take the opportunity to buy the game and use the special experience boost to quickly gain ranks in the game.

It is always exciting when a developer chooses to reward fans of the games they have created with special anniversary events, and Blizzard has made a good choice in their in-game rewards. Recently, Blizzard was in the news for a glitch in the latest version of the game that allowed certain players to horde trillions of gold in the game's auction house. However, Blizzard decided to take the profits made from this glitch and donate it to charity, so perhaps it was a good thing that the bug occurred after all.
