On July 16, 2012, Univision is set to launch the hit Telenovela "Por Ella Soy Eva" starring Lucero and Jaime Camil.

The hit Telenovela "Por Ella soy Eva" is set to premiere on Univision on Primetime at 8pm replacing one hour of "Un Refugio para el Amor" which currently is playing for two hours.

The Mexican Telenovela is produced by Rosy Ocampo for Televisa and is based on the Colombian Telenovela "En Tacones de Eva."

The Novela follows the story of Juan Carlos Caballero (Jamie Camil) who is a daring seducer who utilizes women and does not believe in love. He is also a wealthy businessman who is accused of fraud and of stealing Helena Moreno's (Lucero) project, a hardworking single mother. In order for Juan Carlos to vindicate himself and recover the love of Helena, he decides to dress himself as Eva. Through his adventures as Eva he learns the lesson of his life and changes his view on women.

The telenovela stars the singer-actress Lucero who returns to the telenovela after "Soy Tu Duena" and Jamie Camil who has not been seen in a Televnovela since 2009 in "Los Exitosos Perez." Also joining the cast are Mariana Seoane (Mar de Amor) and Marcelo Cordoba (La Fuerza del Destino) as antagonists. Helena Rojo, Patricia Navidad, Manuel Ojeda, Leticia Perdigon, Carlos Bracho among others.

The Telenovela premiered February 20, 2012 in Mexico and reached a huge audience. Univision hopes that with Lucero and Jamie Camil's popularity the Telenovela will repeat the same success.
