With WWE Extreme Rules nearing closer and closer, the tapings for Friday Night Smackdown in Detroit, Mich., on Tuesday had an action-packed card from top to bottom.

The card started with Chris Jericho hosting "The Highlight Reel" and interviewing special guest Ryback, the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship. After cutting a promo about his change in attitude and the fans not respecting him as he nears his WWE title match with John Cena at Extreme Rules, Teddy Long came out and booked Ryback against Jericho later for the night. Ryback gave the fans a preview by assaulting Jericho on the set.

Next up, the Big Show defeated Tensai in singles action, and tried to add insult to injury by hitting the big right hand knockout punch on Brodus Clay after the match, only to be thwarted when Orton slid in out of nowhere to hit an equilibrium-shattering RKO and send a message to the Big Show.

In other news, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has pulled out of "Fast and Furious 7", according to Yahoo! Movies. While the inclusion of the popular eight-time WWE Champion has put a little life back into the franchise, he departed do to his commitment to the upcoming "Hercules" movie. There is speculation that his role in "Fast and Furious" could be filled in by another former WWE superstar, Dave Bautista, who himself has started to land some pivotal roles, including one as Drax the Destroyer in the upcoming Marvel movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

And in other news, the Undertaker has opened the door for a WrestleMania 30 match in New Orleans, La., next April. According to Wrestlezone.com, the Dead Man, who holds a record undefeated streak of 21-0 at the Grandest Stage of Them All, is scheduled for surgeries on his right shoulder and left hip, but has reportedly confirmed with WWE that he intends to be at WrestleMania next year.

A source with the writing team told the site that Undertaker would like to work with either John Cena or Brock Lesnar, while he also had ideas regarding The Shield, whom the Dead Man reportedly holds in high regard.
