"50 Shades of Grey" casting buzz continues to circulate, yet an official decision still seems far off. It's all "50 Shades" fans talk about, so you'd think that E. L. James or Universal studios would give them something to chew on. The smallest tidbit of insight into the casting process would be greatly appreciated, however it remains unlikely. It looks like James and Universal are going to keep their mouths shut until a final decision is made. Regardless of their silence, fans won't stop barraging the Internet with photos, videos and rumors promoting their personal favorites for the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

One fan favorite, who has tragically confessed his lack of interest in the role, is constantly at the center of "50 Shades" attention and has recently earned his own Facebook fan page, complete with provocative Christian Grey memes. The page proves that fans just can't get enough of Ryan Gosling, despite his supposed hiatus from acting. Check out an example below.

Stephen Amell also continues to snag "50 Shades" headlines. His recent interview with Jay Leno and previous self-promoting Facebook post has earned him ample Christian Grey support, making him one of the role's top contenders. And guess what? Amell has his own "50 Shades" dedicated Facebook page as well.

"I love '50 Shades' and there are so many 'who's going to play Christian Grey in the movie' pages I thought I'd make a page. Big fan of Stephen Amell and think he would make an amazing Christian Grey," the page administrator writes. Check out a "50 Shades" meme featuring Amell below.

And who could forget the original fan favorites, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder? Somerhalder remains a top contender, often mentioned along with Amell and Gosling as the best suited candidates for Christian Grey. His on and off-screen girlfriend Dobrev has also received plenty of "50 Shades" love and is still one of the top contenders for Anastasia, Alexis Bledel and Emilia Clarke nipping at her heels. Check out a fan-made "50 Shades" trailer featuring the two "Vampire Diaries" stars below, and in the meantime, keep badgering James and Universal. We want answers now.
