He added that two of his films were delayed due to production of "La Tempestad."

"La Tempestad" has been in the headlines for the past months since production began. Levy and co-star Ximena Navarrete were reportedly criticized for taking 16 hours on a kissing scene and were asked to take acting classes because they had no chemistry. The production team also criticized Levy for his hard-to-understand Cuban accent obtained after working in America.

La Tempestad" started shooting on Wednesday, March 6th in Veracruz. Production recently announced that Christina Aguilera and Alejandro Fernandez would record the theme song. The series also stars Laura Carmine, Ivan Sanchez, Jessica Coch, Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, Latin Lover and Luis Manuel Avila. The series is based on the Colombian telenovela "La Tormenta" and is set to air in Mexico on May 13, 2013 on El Canal de la Estrellas.
