Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most highly anticipated game of the year, and today Rockstar games has released three new trailers for the game, detailing each of the three main characters in the game. The trailers feature protagonists Michael, Franklin, and Trevor as they go about their business in the city of Los Santos. The game will be out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.

Michael's trailer illustrates the lavish lifestyle that he lives. It shows him talking to his therapist about his lifestyle and trying to balance a family life with his criminal enterprises. Michael is more white collar than the other characters, a point that his golfing habit and mansion make clear. His story seems to concentrate on his double life of a family man and mobster, much like Tony Soprano from the famed The Soprano's show.

Trevor story is interconnected with Michael's, and they are shown working together. While Michael lives in the lap of luxury, Trevor lives in a trailer park and in squalor. Trevor seems to have more brutal and crazed missions, as he is seen jumping off flaming airplanes and causing chaos wherever he goes.

Franklin's trailer concentrates on his attempts to life a more street-level criminal lifestyle than Michael or Trevor. He carries out more pedestrian crimes than the other characters. Instead of robbing a bank or threatening people, he steals cars and gets into firefights with the police.

All three characters have a unique story to tell, and Grand Theft Auto 5 promises to have a fantastic story. While there is an obvious connection between Michael and Trevor, it is unclear if and when Franklin will fit into the story. Gamers will just have to wait until GTA V comes out on September 17 in order to get the whole scope on Michael, Trevor, and Franklin.
