Time magazine has released its Time 100 list of this year's most influential people. Among the ranks of 2013's greatest are celebrated artists, pioneers and icons. Several Hollywood actors even made the cut, and much to fans delight, Bryan Cranston, who plays the megalomaniac crystal meth king pin in the hit series "Breaking Bad," is one of them.

The actor rightfully earned the coveted spot and had fellow AMC actor Jon Hamm do the write-up. In his piece, Hamm, known for his role as Don Draper on AMC's "Mad Men," talked about the strange encounter he shared with Cranston when the two first met.

"The first time I met Bryan Cranston, he was standing in his underwear," he writes. "We were doing a photo shoot for a little-known network called AMC, and he was in a rubber chemistry apron, tighty whities and desert boots, while I was in an impeccably tailored 1960s suit, with slicked-back hair and a cigarette dangling from my mouth. Our shows hadn't premiered yet. We were simply two actors, in costume and out of context. He was friendly, funny, gregarious, humble and lovely."

What a pivotal moment in the two actors' lives. The two had already established relatively successful careers, however, neither had any idea how their new roles would catapult them to stardom amongst the ranks of Hollywood's greatest. Hamm has been nominated for five Emmy's while Cranston has won three for their respective AMC roles.

"I know I'm not alone in my ravenous anticipation for the final episodes of 'Breaking Bad,'" he writes. "I also know I'm not alone in waiting with bated breath to see what Bryan does next."

The second half of the fifth and final season of "Breaking Bad" will premiere Sunday, August 11 on AMC. In the meantime, be sure to check out Hamm's "Mad Men" on Sunday nights.
