Bethesda is certainly making waves, as they promised to, in the early part of 2013. Elder Scrolls Online continues to enthrall people as it gets closer and closer to it's expected release date, and now Bethesda has been releasing mysterious teaser videos for a as yet unknown game in the works.

The first teaser video featured barbed wire and spinning records, leading some to believe that this would tease a new Wolfenstein game that has been rumored to be in the works by the publisher. But this new video, posted on Vine, features sunflowers catching fire, the meaning of which is hard to fathom.

Many were hoping that the teaser videos would be a lead-in to an announcement about Fallout 4, however, that was quickly shot down by Peter Hines, Bethesda's vice president of marketing and public relations. Bethesda has pulled much of the Skyrim team off the game, and they could be forming the core of the Fallout 4 team, but the videos are not teasing a Fallout game.

The only other option that gamers know about, besides Wolfenstein, would be Project Zwei, the survival horror game being directed by Resident Evil designer Shinji Mikami. Between the Nazi occult experiments of Wolfenstein and the presumably horrific themes that would come from a game from a Resident Evil veteran, these videos could point to either one of those games.

It is unclear how many videos Bethesda plans to release, or if there will be some common theme built up around them. The videos are visually striking, but they give no clue as to what exactly they are for. Perhaps Bethesda is trying to keep their name floating around before E3, where they could potentially dish out new information about The Elder Scrolls Online, Project Zwei, Wolfenstein, or Fallout 4. Until then, gamers will just have to content themselves with speculating and trying to put together the images with one of the games Bethesda is working on.
