The new season of "Arrested Development" is right around the corner. As fans step back and reflect on the long, agonizing wait, something clicks. It's true that season four will be released on Netflix May 26, but where are all the character posters and trailers? There are no sneak peeks, no on-set photos, why does it all seem so secretive? Netflix and the show's creators even left fans dangling by a thread before announcing its return. They waited until the last minute, keeping us in the dark. So please, show a little decency toward your fans would be much appreciated. Could we at least get a little glimpse of what's to come?

Well, our prayers were answered. A new series of character posters help warm-up our laugh tracks as we brace ourselves for May 26. Each poster features jokes and references to each character from seasons one through three. Michael's (Jason Bateman) features a torn Bluth company business card with his name and title. George Michael's (Michael Cera) shows a banana with "Mr. Manager" pinned to it, a clear reference to his job at the Bluth banana stand. And of course, Tobias' (David Cross) displays a worn, ripped pair of blue jeans with the caption, "never say never."

The posters have wet fans' appetites, but as clever and hilarious as they are, they might not be enough to tide them over until May 26. Although there's still no official word on an "Arrested Development" season four trailer, that doesn't mean fans wouldn't love to see one. The new season will air exclusively on Netflix, which allows fans to view their material commercial free. So therein lies the question, how do you advertise? With a show as popular as "Arrested Development," TV ads are not essential to spread the word of the show's return, but they certainly wouldn't hurt.

For now, as we count down the days until May 26, let's enjoy the posters and be grateful for the fact that the Bluths are back and the best is yet to come.
