Pokémon fans don't have to wait longer for a new update for the upcoming sixth generation games.

The Japanese Pokémon sideshow "Pokémon Smash" will host Game Freak Director Junichi Masuda on April 7. Promotion for the upcoming episode will feature new reveals for "Pokémon X and Y." A teaser video, which has been uploaded to the Japanese Pokémon YouTube account features the Game Freak executive will a couple characters of the sideshow.

The promo of the next episode hints at both the official art and gameplay footage of the new Pokémon.

Although the sideshow does not appear in the United States, Latinos Post will cover what was revealed next weekend.

The last major "Pokémon X and Y" update was in mid-February when the latest Eevee evolution as confirmed with Sylveon. Since then, it has been more than 40 days since Nintendo or The Pokémon Company International has revealed any information for the Nintendo 3DS games.

The new games have only announced two legendary Pokémon. The first is Xerneas, which resembles a deer-like Pokémon and although the type has not been confirmed, its measurements have been. Xerneas is 9-feet 10-inches tall and weights 474-pounds (lbs). The second legendary is the mascot for "Pokémon Y," Yveltal, a bird-like Pokémon is nearly double the height of Xerneas, but weighs a little less. Yveltal's height is 19 feet and it weighs 447.5-lbs.

"We brought Pokémon into an entirely new dimension and we're incredibly excited to bring 'Pokémon X' and 'Pokémon Y' to fans," said Masuda in January following the announcement of the games. "The stunning visuals, a completely redesigned environment, game scenario, music, and communication features will bring smiles to the faces of video game players around the world."

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be released in Australia, Europe, North America, and Japan in October 2013.
