There seems to be no end in sight as the feud between comedian Jim Carrey and the cable news channel Fox News continues over gun rights and freedom of speech.

It all started after Carrey published a "Funny of Die" video earlier this week titled "Cold Dead Hand" that pokes fun at the late former NRA president Charlton Heston and gun enthusiasts.

In response, Fox News commentators bashed the comedic actor's video. "He is probably the most pathetic tool on the face of the Earth and I hope his career is dead, and he ends up sleeping in a car the way his life began," said like TV host Greg Gutfield during "The Five." "This video only made me want to go out and only buy a gun. He thinks this is biting satire and going after rural America and a dead man."

Fox contributor Laura Ingram also added her two cents, reminding viewers that Carrey's latest flick, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," recieved poor reviews and insisting that the video was meant to deflect from his "cold, dead career. Carrey has not been funny since, I don't know, 'The Truman Show.'"

The "Liar, Liar" actor fired back at the Right-Wing network with a snarky press release.

"Since I released my 'Cold Dead Hand' video on Funny or Die this week, I have watched Fux News rant, rave, bare its fangs and viciously slander me because of my stand against large magazines and assault rifles," said Carry. "I would take them to task legally if I felt they were worth my time or that anyone with a brain in their head could actually fall for such irresponsible buffoonery," he continued.

Carrey also posted messages on Twitter about the issue throughout the week slamming pro-gun advocates.

The Fox News team shot back at the actor with two challenges: one, to come onto Fox News to defend his video, and the other, to file an actual lawsuit.

"You talked talked out of your arse ... Come sue us. Bring your arse and we'll bring what little brains we have and see what happens," declared Bob Beckel.

Let's see if Carry takes Fox up on their challenge...
