Thursday's episode of 'Grey's Anatomy,' entitled "Idle Hands," saw the doctors of the newly renamed Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital finally opening the hospital's ER with a fancy new medical toy.

The new board of directors, comprised of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Derek (Patrick Dempsey), Christina (Sandra Oh), Callie (Sara Ramirez), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Jackson (Jesse Williams), must deal with their new roles, while still juggling their roles as doctors.

Meredith and Derek spend some quality time together as the expecting couple worries and talks about their unborn baby. Meredith, always going to her dark and most pessimistic place, spends the entire episode worrying that their baby will be born with two heads or some other disability. Despite Derek's assurances that the baby will be just fine, Meredith isn't calmed until they have an ultrasound, which reveals that not only is their baby healthy, but it's also a boy!

Callie and Arizona have some marital issues of their own, with Arizona's amputated leg getting in the way of the relationship's romance. Eventually, Arizona allows Callie to help her out with her leg's soreness and the connection eventually leads to the two finally getting the intimacy that they've both craved.

Meanwhile, Christina finds out that an old classmate is getting his hands dirty in some cutting-edge cardiology work. The news prompts her to seek the cardiology attending, who just wants to appease her to get some board money for his research. After finally realizing that she's the one in charge, Christina decides to cut his funding--giving the money to a project Bailey (Chandra Wilson) has been trying to get funded--and forces him to take her on as a replacement for his lost fellows and research assistants.

Jackson feels the pressure of his new board director role and tries to step away from his responsibilities by diving into his medical work. At the same time, Owen (Kevin McKidd) enjoys his return to his Chief-of-Staff position and the reopening of the ER. Also running the ER is April (Sarah Drew), who spends the episode worrying about her new relationship and the fact that she's no longer a virgin.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) work on a young cancer patient, who does not like Jo's new boyfriend. In order to get back at him, the patient calls on Alex to play pranks on Jo's boyfriend. The prankster duo is caught by Richard (James Pickens Jr.), who decides to join in on the fun.

In next's week episode of 'Grey's Anatomy,' entitled "Can't Fight This Feeling," the staff at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital must deal with the mass injuries caused by a gas tanker explosion on a Seattle highway. One of the injured will include April's new boyfriend, paramedic Matthew (guest star Justin Bruening).

Meanwhile, Meredith and Jo will have to work with a frantic mother (guest star Sarah Chalke) whose little boy is suffering from a mysterious illness. Owen will also be working with a little boy, but one whose parents are in critical condition, ABC teases. After spending the entire last episode pranking Jo's new boyfriend, Alex will be forced to work with him on "an ailing patient," where true colors are revealed.

'Grey's Anatomy' S9E19, "Can't Fight This Feeling," airs on Thursday, March 28 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
