On March 4, "El Gordo y La Flaca" adressed rumors about Jenni's older daughter, Janney "Chiquis" Marin, becoming the next singer in the Rivera clan.

"She will become a Mexican regional music singer starting October," Alejandra Espinoza, one of four hosts, said on the show. "She would be part of her boyfriend's record label."

Various publications have gone as far as to confirm the rumor to be true stating that Chiquis will be part of Del Records, owned by her boyfriend Angel Del Villar. Many say that at the moment the only thing that remains unknown is the name of the composers that will be working together on her debut album.

On Tuesday she posted a picture of one of the articles on her twitter account and added as a caption: "Just FYI: This is NOT true, I don't know from where they get so much stuff," she said referring to the rumors.

TV y Novelas reported that yesterday Chiquis denied once again that she would be taking the spotlight as a singer any time soon.

"They say that I am going to sing? ... Oh my God, what else are they going to come up with," she said. "Just so that everyone that is important to me knows ... singing is not in my plans for now. My plans are very different."

According to Diario Cambio, Chiquis and her aunt Rosie have been responsible for the care of Jenni's youngest children, Jenicka, Johnny and Michael, as well as for keeping the love of the Mexican singer's fans alive through social media.

TV y Novelas also noted that although Chiquis is not interested in a singing career at the moment she didn't fully close the door on the idea.

"Everything is possible but I don't like things to be said without me confirming them," she said. "I am not saying that I am never going [to sing], but for now that is not the case."
