While Real Madrid's victory over Barcelona has grabbed the major headlines this week, the matchup between Atletico Madrid and Sevilla FC will decide what team will take on Madrid in May in the Copa del Rey Final.

Atletico comes into Wednesday's tilt with a 2-1 aggregate lead. Diego Costa scored two goals in the first match while Alvaro Negredo tallied the lone goal for Sevilla; all three goals were scored on penalties. Costa and Negredo's six goals are tied with Cristiano Ronaldo for most goals in the campaign.

At the center of the contest will be Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao who has scored 21 goals in the Spanish league for Atletico. The striker has only tallied once in the Copa del Rey for Atletico, but his playing time has also been limited throughout the tournament.

How They Got Here

Atletico started off the tournament with a 3-0 win over Jaen in the fourth round. In the second leg, the team managed a 1-0 win over Jaen for an aggregate of 4-0. In the round of 16, Costa scored a brace and Filipe Luis tallied the third in a 3-0 win over Getafe. The two teams would draw 0-0 in the second leg, but the aggregate favored Atletico 3-0. In the quarterfinals, Madrid took down Betis 2-0 at home; Falcao scored his lone goal of the tournament in this tilt. Despite drawing 1-1 in the following match, was through on the strength of a 3-1 aggregate score.

Sevilla defeated Espanyol by an aggregate of 6-1; the team won the first game 3-1 and followed it up with a 3-0 victory. Sevilla had an offensive explosion with a 5-0 win over Mallorca in the first leg and followed it up with a 2-1 loss; the aggregate favored them 6-2. Sevilla drew 0-0 with Real Zaragoza in the first leg of the quarterfinals but won the second 4-0.

Predictions: Madrid plays for a 0-0 draw; they get a 1-1 tie and pass to the final to set up a derby in the final.
